HAPPY SAINT PATRICK’S DAY!
The feast day of Saint Patrick the humble and courageous Catholic saint who brought Christianity to and is the patron saint of Ireland. Today is a national holiday in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the overseas territory of Montserrat, and unfortunately in Canada the only province in which it is an official holiday is in Newfoundland and Labrador. Lucky for them, regardless that won’t stop anyone else from celebrating. We all know everyone’s Irish on Saint Patrick’s day and is celebrated by lots of people who aren’t of Irish descent. For many, it’s just another reason to go out and enjoy themselves. I’m proud to represent the fact that I’m a quarter Irish, certain cause for celebration, not just today but everyday! Just a bit o’ the Irish! Enjoy your celebrations along with being Irish, for at least one day anyhow! :-)
