| Written by Jono Cono Cheap beer is a great commodity, one not found in Ontario. Living fairly close to the Quebec border, about a half hour drive away there awaits vast amounts of cheap beer. All the big name brands and imports to be had at prices you would NEVER see in Ontario. It’s too bad really when Ontario has a dedicated business just to sell beer and yet it’s outrageously expensive. I venture every so often to Quebec to stock up on beer and it’s well worth the drive. Here are some pictures of some recent sales I found at Loblaws in Quebec. Please tell me if you’ve ever see prices this low at the Beer Store, I highly doubt it’s ever happened!
