NHL Hockey Games Live Online is perfect especially when you don’t have cable TV. The only problem of course is that NHL GameCenter blacks out your entire local area extending far beyond your own city. There are a few ways around this to ensure you can watch any hockey game you want.
Hot Spot Shield puts you on a VPN connection through California. Technically you should be able to watch any hockey game on NHL GameCenter except for the West Coast games. Not the best if you live on the West Coast of course. For some reason I couldn’t get any NHL GameCenter games to play when connected to Hot Spot Shield VPN. The next VPN service I tried was Hide My Ass VPN Pro. This does work as you can choose servers all over the World to connect through. I did find it a bit unreliable though, game quality would go up and down, connections drop etc. At $11.52 a month it’s a little on the pricey side. The third option which works the best so far is unblock us. It’s much cheaper at only $4.99 a month and way faster then any VPN connection. You keep your full speed while getting access to content you want on the web without silly limits imposed based on geographical location.
