About me

For what it’s worth I will go by the moniker Jono Cono.  I live in Ottawa, work in Ottawa, play in Ottawa. I’m a young working professional, or otherwise under the illusion that I am. I do agree that I am young, I do work, and I do have a profession which would be more of a confession as to the feudalistic corporate serfdom I endure M through F of which I am very proud of. In fact I love my job and everyday I go to work happy and I come home happy. That’s something I could not lay claim to at my previous job with my previous employer, but they’re nothing short of history now!

Dynamically Distinct Discourse:

Naming my blog was a tedious task. When I first decided to start a blog and was installing the software on my server I just named it (Ramblings), it was the first thing that popped into my head. After a while once I had the time to sit back and actually think about that title I realized it in no way actually described what my blog is. To ramble, would be to write about things in an incoherent manner. That is not my style. This initiated much thought to come up with a name that would better describe my blog on the whole without limiting any one aspect, while remaining unique. Finally, much deliberation helped to narrow it down to five or six words. I was looking to create a phrase consisting of three words in the style of alliteration.

After conferring with my father as to which order would seem most fitting, a new title was born…Dynamically Distinct Discourse. I find this title very appropriate, I like the way it sounds, and there’s also humour to be found in it as it would make my blog 3D. This title sums up what my blog is, to me and hopefully others. It is: Dynamic as there will be continuous change, activity, and progress in my writing and information I provide. Distinct as it will be readily distinguishable from all others while being clearly defined and easily perceived by the intellect. Discourse as I will converse, discuss and otherwise express myself through writing.
